Jacob & Grace Part 1: The Road Home

Welcome to Episode 1 of our 10-part series following the lives of Jacob and Grace from 1960 to 1981. Set in the tranquil hills of Green Hill, St. Ann, Jamaica, this series begins with the humble life of Jacob, a hardworking carpenter with dreams of building a future beyond the limitations of poverty. As he returns home one evening, Jacob’s life takes a dramatic turn when he finds Grace, a woman beaten and broken, by the side of the road.

In this first episode, we witness Jacob’s quiet strength as he nurses Grace back to health, asking himself who she is and how she came to be in such distress. The bond between them slowly grows as Grace, still fragile, finds safety in Jacob’s care.
